Two artists at a flea market

My wife and I were walking through a flea market a few weeks back and found a booth selling really amazing silk screen prints. We ended up purchasing three of them, which was certainly three more than we thought we would but with prints the price is right and the work was really awesome.

Marion Jdanoff's work was a little more whimsical than Susann's (with whom she shared the booth) with strong color and symbolism. She had some great hand printed/bound books as well.

Susann Poenisch's work was a little more dense and macabre, which suited me just fine. Initially we only bought the two prints above but after walking around the market for a while I couldn't stop thinking about this one.

Cool stuff. It makes me want to make more prints.
